Subaru of America Inc. will recall 350 ’03 Legacy and Outback models sold in “salt belt” states in the U.S. due to possible front suspension corrosion. The corrosion, caused by the effects of road salt on certain suspension components, could lead to parts breaking and drivers losing control of the vehicle, Subaru says. No accidents or injuries have been yet reported. Subaru will rustproof components to prevent corrosion.
