A strike at exhaust system supplier Walker Australia has halted production at General Motors Corp.’s Holden Elizabeth, Australia, plant and Ford Motor Co.’s Broadmeadows facility in Melbourne. Walker stopped parts delivery to Elizabeth on April 19, and the plant will be down for the remainder of the week, as it ran out of parts on April 22.
