Suzuki Motor Corp. reportedly will begin production in 2006 of a General Motors Corp.-designed global V-6 engine. No financial terms have been disclosed. Suzuki will use the 3.2L and 3.6L engines in its own cars and trucks. Production will take place at Suzuki’s Sagara engine plant in Shizhoua, Japan. The global V-6 engine debuted this year and is built at GM’s St. Catharine’s, Ont., Canada, facility and Holden Ltd.’s Port Melbourne, Australia, plant.
