Toyota Motor Sales U.S.A. Inc. reports its best-ever first-half with sales of 1,331,074 units. For June, Toyota sales rose 6.1%, based on daily selling rates (27 days in 2006 and 26 days in 2007). Toyota officials particularly are pleased with Tundra deliveries, which in June surged 137.2% to 21,727 units, compared with year-ago.
