NEW YORK – Dan Werbin, president of Volvo Cars of North America, says that despite slow growth this year, he is optimistic that his brand will reach a goal of 200,000 sales in North America by 2005. He forecasts Volvo will sell 140,000 cars this year in the U.S., Canada and Mexico, up about 4,000 units from 2001.
