Next German govt agrees to raise transport spending

BERLIN, Nov 3 (Reuters) - Germany's Christian Democrats and the Social Democrats have agreed to increase annual investment in rail, road and waterway infrastructure projects to "at least 12 billion euros", according to a draft obtained by Reuters.

That would be about one billion euros more than the government spent on transport investment in 2004.
