TOKYO, Nov 12 (Reuters) - The Nikkei share average broke below 15,000 for the first time in 15 months by early afternoon on Monday, as the yen further strengthened to slice below 110 yen, putting further pressure on Japanese exporters.
The Nikkei fell 3.8 percent to 14.998.51 as of 0347 GMT, breaking below 15,000 for the first time since July 27, 2006. The broader TOPIX shed 3.6 percent to 1,440.29.
