TOKYO, Jan 27 (Reuters) - The Nikkei average is expected to gain on Tuesday after logging a nearly three-month closing low the previous day, with beaten-down shares seen rebounding, but trade may be cautious as the corporate earnings season gets into full swing.
Nomura Holdings Inc and Yahoo Japan Corp are among companies due to report results later on Tuesday. Sony Corp , which has warned of a massive loss, will announce its earnings on Thursday.
