TOKYO, Nov 12 (Reuters) - Tokyo stocks extended losses by early afternoon on Monday, with both the Nikkei and TOPIX benchmarks dropping more than 3 percent, in a broad sell-off following the yen's sharp rise against the dollar and big losses on Wall Street.
The Nikkei declined 3.4 percent to 15,056.98 as of 0339 GMT, the lowest since July 2006. The broader TOPIX shed 3.2 percent to 1,447.21.
