PARIS, Oct 26 (Reuters) - Renault said on Thursday that Japanese partner Nissan 's fiscal first half earnings would contribute 496 million euros ($627.8 million) to the French carmaker's second half earnings.
Nissan, which is 44 percent-owned by Renault, posted on Thursday a smaller-than-expected 4.9 percent drop in quarterly operating profit on as an ageing product line hit global sales.
