TOKYO, June 25 (Reuters) - Carlos Ghosn, chief executive of Renault and Nissan Motor Co , said on Wednesday industrywide sales in the United States will be way below 15 million vehicles this year if the downtrend in May and June continues.
Still, the firm's market share in the U.S. is expected to continue to grow, Ghosn told a group of reporters following Nissan's annual shareholders' meeting.
Nissan is 44 percent owned by Renault SA
