Nissan Q4 operating profit up, sees small 07/08 rise


TOKYO, April 26 (Reuters) - Nissan Motor Co. , Japan's third-biggest carmaker, posted a small increase in quarterly operating profit as vehicle sales undershot expectations, and forecast a modest 3 percent profit rise this year. The Tokyo-based carmaker also said it was postponing its medium-term business plan targets by one year. January-March operating profit rose 1.9 percent to 245.3 billion yen ($2.07 billion), just beating a consensus market estimate for 244.8 billion yen. ...
