Familiar Profile
New Armada has similar profile to Infiniti QX80, including distinctive D-pillar. Both models share platform with overseas Nissan Patrol SUV.
Off-Road Capable
While it has lower ground clearance than before, Armada still off-road capable, Nissan says, as shown in pic from drive course.
Revised V-8
Nissan updates first-gen Armada's 5.6L V-8 for '17, adding direct injection, variable valve timing and lift. Horsepower rises from 317 to 390.

We best combined figure of 15 mpg for the 4x4 Armada. For both 4x2 and 4x4 Armada only city fuel economy up, by just 1 mpg due to heavier Patrol platform.
Upscale Touches
Interior door panels on leather models have ruched leather, giving Armada an upscale appearance but one different from QX80.
Fine Materials
Beautiful faux wood combined with soft-touch instrument panel, high-quality leather, chrome decorate interior.
Second row spacious and doesn't skimp on niceties. Note chocolate piping on edges of leather seats. However, rear-seat entertainment screens too small.
