NYK Lines in talks to build car terminal in Guangzhou

HONG KONG, June 15 (Reuters) - Japanese shipping firm Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK Lines) is in talks with authorities in China's southern Guangzhou city to build a joint-venture car terminal in its Nansha port, a Hong Kong newspaper said on Tuesday. The company will meet Guangzhou officials on Tuesday to discuss the project and hopes to reach an agreement in three to six months, the South China Morning Post quoted NYK Lines president Koji Miyahara as saying.
