PARIS, April 24 (Reuters) - Plastic Omnium , a French group that makes car parts and rubbish bins, reported a 6.4 percent rise in first-quarter sales on Tuesday, but repeated that car market conditions were proving difficult in France, the United States and Japan in the first half of 2007.
Sales reached 617.9 million euros ($838.1 million) in the first quarter of 2007 against 580.5 million euros in the same quarter of 2006.
