What would be the most likely impact should the UAW organize VW's Chattanooga plant?

I believe that the quality, productivity and cost will decline, and this will cause any new product or capacity additions to go to Puebla, MX facility. Associates wanting a union is a symptom of poor management. People want strong leadership. If the company is not providing it, the union will step into the vacuum and promise better conditions, wages, benefits, etc. I know the Germans and Japanese have unions. I can't speak for the Germans, but the Japanese unions work in harmony with the company to improve quality, conditions. The UAW just seems to want dues.
