As a former owner of several Mustangs over the years I think the new one is a worthy successor to the brand.

There is no way to make a 4 cylinder sound like a V8, not that there is any thing wrong with the 4 cylinder but a Mustang GT needs to sound like a Mustang GT.

I would agree. Harmonics of a 4-cyl prevent it from ever sounding like a V8. Even with tweaking the exhaust a bit, the best we can expect is for it to sound like a fart can put on the tailpipe.

It looks like they took the Fusion and added about 15-20% Mustang to it (It looks terrible). I agree the IRS was long overdue, but to enthusiasts, the Roush Mustang has had one for quite some time. Even Hammond, May and Clakston from Top Gear loved the handling of the '12 Roush compared to the '12 GT500.

Too little, too late. Should have put it on a diet (reduce by 500 lbs) even if it means axing the V8's. IRS long overdue. People who buy Mustangs will buy anything offered, this at least will not offend them.
