Combined medium- and heavy-duty truck sales in the U.S. slipped 31.4% from already anemic year-ago levels in August, Ward’s data indicate, reaching a volume of 14,735. The performance was a bit better than the 39.8% falloff posted in July, but August’s volume was down 8.2% from the previous month.
