AutoAlliance (Thailand) Co. Ltd., the joint-venture assembly operation between Ford Motor Co. and Mazda Motor Corp., shuts down after a month of disruptions caused by unionized workers demanding higher pay and bigger bonuses. The JV, which employs 3,500 workers, was established in November 1995.
