SAO PAULO – Brazil’s passenger car sales fell 12.4% in May to 82,212 units from year-ago’s 83,805, says the National Federation of Vehicle Dealers. May sales also dipped 3.4% below April’s 85,056 units. In the year’s first five months, sales totaled 437,067 units, a 3.9% decrease from the year-ago period.
