Ford Motor Co. is increasing incentives on its 4-door Explorer and Expedition SUVs, following the lead of rival General Motors Corp. (see related story: Hyundai Adds Incentives; GM Hikes Offers) Ford now will offer $2,500 cash back on Explorer and $2,000 off Expeditions. Both increased by $500. Meanwhile, DaimlerChrysler Corp. increases rebates by $500 to $2,500 on light-duty Dodge Ram pickup trucks in certain regions of the country and to $1,500 on heavy-duty Rams.
