Ford Motor Co. has scrapped plans to put its aluminum intensive vehicle, codenamed D219, into the Rouge complex in Dearborn, MI. But Ford sources stress that while Rouge will not get this vehicle, the automaker is committed to the plant and says that at least one new vehicle will go into the facility that currently produces the Mustang.
