General Motors of Canada Ltd. plans to invest nearly C$20 million in a new vehicle design facility at its Oshawa, Ont., campus. The new 100,000-sq.-ft. Regional Engineering Centre will focus on chassis and body subsystem development and expand on GM-Canada's expertise in alternative fuels and cold climate engineering.
