General Motors Corp. calls back 570,000 ’97-’98 model midsize and large SUVs, pickup trucks and vans due to a faulty mirror control switch on vehicles with remote power adjustable mirrors. GM has had 67 reports of electrical fires, leading to three injuries, caused by the switch. Models included in the recall are the Chevrolet Suburban, Blazer, C/K and Astro and GMC Suburban, Jimmy, Sierra and Safari. About 507,000 of the affected models were sold in the U.S. and 46,000 were sold in Canada.
