SAO PAULO — DaimlerChrysler AG's Mercedes-Benz do Brazil plans to invest US$500 million in operations here between 2000 and 2002. The funds will be allocated to the launching of commercial vehicles, says Ben Van Schalk, president of the Brazilian division.
