Total August light-vehicle production in Mexico dove 11.7% to 193,449 units from year-ago, as a 21.0% decrease in export builds offset a 28.4% jump in domestic output. U.S. Big Three production plunged 122.9% from prior-year to 102,747 units, with Ford Motor Co. S.A. de C.V. posting the largest deficit of 18.5% to 28,559.
