Motor America says the ’07 Hyundai Santa Fe cross/utility vehicle will begin at $20,945 for a front-wheel-drive base model when it goes on sale this month at U.S. Hyundai dealerships.
The previous-generation Santa Fe CUV began at $22,295.
The next-generation Santa Fe is available in three trims: GLS, SE and Limited.
The GLS model comes standard with a 2.7L V-6 engine making 185 hp, mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. Adding all-wheel-drive brings the Santa Fe GLS to $22,945.
A GLS with 4-speed automatic transmission with manual mode begins at $22,145 for a FWD model and $24,145 for an AWD model.
Buyers selecting the SE and Limited grades of Santa Fe get a larger, 3.3L V-6 engine, making 242 hp and mated to a 5-speed automatic gearbox with manual mode.
Prices range from $23,645 for an SE FWD model to $27,945 for an AWD Limited trim.
Destination and handling is $650 for all ’07 Santa Fes.
