Adam Opel AG is cutting annual production at its Spanish operations to 368,000 units from an original plan of 394,000 units, published reports say. Opel also is working with its unions to negotiate adjustments in the work schedule. The auto maker is expected to ask for flexibility in reducing output in an effort to avoid layoffs.
