DETROIT – General Motors Europe recalls 88,000 new-generation Opel Corsas due to a multitude of possible problems including loose battery connections, faulty front-seat adjusters, installation of battery-holding blocks, rear-seat stability and seat-locking mechanisms. Opel’s Italian, French and German divisions are recalling the vehicles, which have had no reported incidents related to the recall, an Opel spokesman says in published reports. Opel did not reveal the cost of the recall.
