VIENNA – Renault SA plans to invest €215 million ($266 million) in a new transmission plant for Romania. The facility will be located in Mioveni, close to Renault's current Automobile Dacia SA plant, and is scheduled to launch production in 2008. About 650 new jobs will be created. The plant will have a capacity of about 2,000 transmissions per day, or 450,000 units annually.
