SAO PAULO – Renault SA is betting that women, who make up 40% of car buyers in Brazil, will purchase a car named after a cosmetics manufacturer, especially if they can save $600 on the deal. The French auto maker recently launched its Renault Boticario model, based on the Twingo, for $9,600, approximately $600 less than the normal sticker price.
