GS Yuasa plans to supply PSA Peugeot Citroen with lithium-ion batteries for use in electric vehicles the French auto maker will produce beginning in 2012. The batteries will be made at GS Yuasa and Mitsubishi Motors’ joint-venture plant in Japan’s Ritto, Shiga prefecture.
