Three auto makers are calling back vehicles over new safety concerns, Reuters reports. Toyota Motor Corp. will recall some 4,900 '05 Avalon sedans to fix a defective steering column that was joined with an imprecise weld. The vehicle, which is new for '05, could lose steering in some situations.
