What’s New for ’11
Built on a new platform, the Chrysler 300 Series retains much of the look of the lineup it replaces.
The standard engine for the 300 and 300 Limited is now the 3.6L Pentastar V-6, while the standard 5.7L Hemi V-8 continues in the 300C and 300 AWD. Both are mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission.
It sports a new, 7-blade grille, while the interior is improved with better fit and finish, along with low-gloss, soft-touch surfaces throughout and real wood appliqués.
Front and rear suspension geometry have been revised and improve handling and responsiveness, while noise, vibration and harshness are reduced through new acoustic under-body panels, dual-pane windshield and side glass, additional sound-deadening material, triple door seals and acoustic wheel-well liners.
The windshield has been raked back by 3 inches, improving aerodynamics and lowering wind noise. Combined with thinner door pillars, outward visibility is improved by 15%.
