Renault confirms AvtoVaz cooperation talks


PARIS, May 31 (Reuters) - French cargroup Renault on Wednesday confirmed it was in cooperation talks with Russia's AvtoVaz , maker of the Lada, but said reports about it taking a stake were premature. "A team of Renault is currently at Tolyatti at the invitation of AvtoVaz to study the feasability of a possible cooperation," a Renault spokeswoman told Reuters. "Renault is interested in increasing its production capacity, especially in countries with a high market growth," she added. ...
