Renault says to get 910 mln euro Nissan boost in H2

PARIS, Nov 19 (Reuters) - French carmaker Renault SA said on Tuesday its Japanese partner Nissan Motor Co would contribute 910 million euros to its second-half results, slightly more than previously estimated.

Renault said in late October that Nissan, in which the French firm holds a 44.4 percent stake, would contribute around 900 million euros -- well above market expectations.

The figure brings Nissan's total contribution to Renault's 2002 results to 1.335 billion euros, Renault said in a statement, adding that 79 million euros of the 910 million stemmed from a change in accounting methods.
