PARIS, Nov 16 (Reuters) - Carmaker Renault slashed its 2005 operating margin forecast by a full percentage point to "more than 3 percent" on Wednesday, citing a worsened outlook for the European market in the fourth quarter.
A medium-term plan to be announced in February will focus on boosting profitability while prursuing a strategy of growth, it said in a statement.
It will include a policy to renew and broaden the product line, it added.
