STOCKHOLM, Aug 26 (Reuters) - Swedish truck maker Scania said on Friday it had signed a deal with U.S. firm Cummins to develop high pressure injectors for diesel engines.

The injectors will be manufactured at a jointly-owned company at the Cummins plant in Columbus in the United States and in Juarez in Mexico.

The injectors will reduce fuel consumption and reduce emissions.
