Russia's GAZ Group to buy LDV, expand UK plant


LONDON, July 31 (Reuters) - Russian carmaker GAZ Group agreed to buy British vanmaker LDV on Monday and said it planned to expand production at the firm's plant in central England. LDV was one of the last surviving British-owned vehicle makers until December last year when it was bought out of administration by U.S. private equity investor Sun Capital.
