India vehicle sales totaled 270,408 units for December 2012, down 4.0% vs. December 2011. December 2012 vehicles sales decreased 6.3% compared with November 2012 sales. 2012 sales through December totaled 3,593,216. This was up 8.9% over the same period in 2011. Maruti Suzuki was the leader in year-to-date sales with a total of 1,063,599, resulting in a 29.6% market share.
