Sandvik CEO sees rising output in 2004

STOCKHOLM, May 6 (Reuters) - Swedish specialty steel and tools maker Sandvik saw increasing production on continued good demand in 2004, its Chief Executive said on Thursday.

"We have seen a gradual increase in demand since the fourth quarter and it is clear that we will have to adjust production upwards if it continues," Sandvik Chief Executive Lars Pettersson told Reuters in a telephone interview.
