Seoul shares flat ahead of inflation data; Kia gains


(Updates to mid-morning) SEOUL, Sept 1 (Reuters) - South Korean shares were flat on Friday, as some exporters such as Samsung Electronics gained on expectations of improving earnings in the second-half, but with the mood generally cautious ahead of inflation data. Exporters also added some gains on data showing South Korean exports grew 18.7 percent in August from a year earlier, far above market expectations, helping ease worries about slowing growth in Asia's third-largest economy. ...
