Shanghai Auto sees H1 earnings up 50 pct y/y

SHANGHAI, June 18 (Reuters) - Shanghai Automotive Co Ltd said on Wednesday its earnings will rise more than 50 percent year on year in the first half of 2003 despite the outbreak of the deadly flu-like SARS.
