S.Korea to offer tax incentives for car makers

SEOUL, March 26 (Reuters) - South Korea plans to provide tax incentives to customers who replace their old cars with new ones to help domestic automakers, the government said on Thursday.

The government said in a statement that it would also boost auto financing to lift local car sales and expand support for research and development. (Reporting by Cheon Jong-woo; Editing by Jonathan Hopfner)
