SEOUL, Feb 18 (Reuters) - South Korea's largest automobile parts maker, Hyundai Mobis Co , said on Tuesday fourth quarter net profit soared 35 percent from a year earlier, helped by rising sales in its module car parts business.
Mobis, an affiliate of South Korea's largest auto maker Hyundai Motor Co , earned 96.1 billion won ($79.6 million) in net profit in the three months ended December, against 71 billion a year ago. Sales rose to 1.27 trillion won from 804 billion won.
Analysts surveyed by Multex projected a fourth quarter net profit of 97 billion won on sales of 1.07 trillion.
The company's sales in its module business tripled to 1.96 trillion won last year and are expected to increase 37 percent this year to 2.7 trillion.
