Societe Generale to buy Russia's Promek


PARIS, March 30 (Reuters) - French bank Societe Generale said on Wednesday it was buying Russia's Promek Bank, a provider of consumer credit particularly for car loans, but gave no financial details of the transaction. Societe Generale said the deal should be completed in the coming months, and would be submitted to Russia's central bank and competition authorities for approval.
