Sonic Automotive sees strong used-car sales-report

May 27 (Reuters) - Auto dealership chain Sonic Automotive Inc expects to see the highest sale of used cars in May since it went public in 1997, helped by demand for luxury cars with extended warranties, its chief financial officer told Bloomberg in an interview. Sonic's May sales are expected to exceed 7,000, CFO David Cosper told the news agency, adding that new car sales were down for the month.
