South Korea's LG Chem to supply batteries to Renault


SEOUL, Sept 30 (Reuters) - South Korea's LG Chem Co. , the country's biggest chemicals company, said on Thursday it will supply lithium-ion batteries for Renault's electric cars. LG Chem will supply batteries for electric cars that Renault will begin mass-producing next year, an LG statement said.
