MADRID, July 22 (Reuters) - Vehicle production in Spain totalled 1.64 million in the first half of this year, up 8.4 percent from the same period of last year, the National Carmakers' Association (ANFAC) said on Tuesday.
Car production rose 6.8 percent to 1.29 million while commercial vehicle output climbed 15.4 percent to 326,000, it said in a statement.
Vehicle exports rose 9.8 percent in the first half of the year, ANFAC said.
Car exports rose 8.9 percent to 1.05 million and exports of industrial vehicles surged 14.3 percent to 282,000, it said.
