CHICAGO, May 27 (Reuters) - Spartan Motors Inc. said on Tuesday it will consolidate its Road Rescue ambulance production in Marion, South Carolina, by year-end, resulting in a charge of $700,000 during the second and third quarters.
The Charlotte, Mich.-based manufacturer of custom chassis and emergency- rescue vehicles said it would close its St. Paul, Minnesota, facility as a result of the consolidation.
